FORGET ABOUT OIL: WATER IS THE RESOURCE TO BE CONCERNED WITH FOR THE FUTURE

Corporation watch. Please check out this site, and educate yourself about what is going on today in the World regarding water shortages, and wars over water.

Bolivia leads the way in fighting off corporations that are trying to take control of our most precious natural resource on the planet...water.

Read this book as soon as you can, and boycott Evian, Naya, Dasani (Coca-Cola water), and Pepsi brand water.

Cheers!

If you need to store water for an extended period ...

MAKE YOUR OWN BOTTLED WATER:

1) Wash a PET jug and the cap thoroughly with soap and then rinse (PET is the clear plastic as used for juice or water)

2) Fill with clean water and add 4 eye-drops of unscented bleach per gallon. Seal and shake well to ensure chlorine contact with all inside surfaces. Refrigerate.

3) Open and let stand for 10 minutes to off-gas any remaining chlorine taste. (though it should be gone after a few days and it won't hurt you)

4) Shake vigorously or pour repeatedly between containers to oxygenate. Enjoy

(bottled water isn't all that mystical - I used to run a bottled water plant)

Buying a water filter?

Make sure it is 0.45 micron absolute or smaller. 0.45um abs will remove all viruses. An additional carbon or charcoal filter will remove VOC's (volatile organic compounds). The carbon filter will also improve the taste.

I have a Brita water filter attached to my kitchen tap, which i use for cooking, coffee and water drinking.

I re-use an Evian bottle which I tote around with me everywhere I go, which I really need to stop doing, because it looks like I"m advertising their product.
